Could not have been more delicious!!! Scallion pancake, triple special earthen pot and Mongolian beef were all amazing and flavorful. The best part, for two people these were big enough to create a second meal. Please don't notice how I ungracefully ate more than half the scallion pancake before rembering to take pictures.

The duck here is wonderful, the best outside of China arguably. The rest of the dishes are all really authentic, and the vibe of the restaurant is excellent. The waiters are really friendly, and if you’re looking for Chinese food, this has got to be the spot.

I had good service this evening at Hot Pot Chen on Stadium Boulevard in Ann Arbor. The waitress mixed our sesame noodles appetizer right at the table, for us. And at the end of the meal, she boxed up all of the leftover food without spilling a morsel. I appreciate that. In between we enjoyed good food and conversation in one of the most beautiful dining rooms outside of the downtown area. I love the pan-fried string beans, the sizzling teriyaki chicken, and the twice cooked pork. I’ll be back to try more.

Large portion and good for gatherings! Sounds like the features food is grilled fish but it’s not so flavored. Roast duck is good. Cost effective!

BEST Beijing duck in town!! Most definitely authentic. Staffs are awesome as well. I would say this is my favorite Chinese restaurant in the area. Highly recommend to give it a try

5 Stars for sure! If you looking for Hot Pot (This one not the one that you cook by your self) I recommend here. They have couples to choose from if single pot they have Beef, Frog legs (my favorite), not sure for chicken you can choose soup or dry hot pot spicy or not and Fish hotpot is the one you can pick individual things to add to your pot and pick your soup base then they will cook up in the back then bring the giant hot pot to your table. This time we order whole duck with 2 style make sure to order 2 style so basically you will get the meat part to wrap and eat with sauce and what ever meat that left from slice with the bone they will sauteed with salt and pepper to serve which is really good as well. I been to Hot Pot Chen many times but I think this time they have new server I forget to ask his name he explain and help us with the menu a lot. Overall this last visit is amazing great food good service!

Food was very savory! If you like flavor, I'd recommend this place. And if you like spicy you will certainly like it! It is a different type of food, so just be a little prepared. Foodies! Yes, this might just be one of your go-to's. Service could have been faster, but maybe that's part of the vibe here.

We ordered the roasted fish pot (pickled mustard flavor), stir fried cabbage, Sichuan pepper chicken, dry pot frog legs, and the brown sugar mochi. Everything was flavorful and well presented! Definitely underrated:3
